How was ITB Berlin 2024? #itbberlin And who would you meet with if you were here this year?
You would definitely meet the #netrocket team! We made many connections and had a lot of fun. I’m sharing some pictures and emotions from the event. Check them out, and feel free to like and comment if you’re moved!
When you consider the scale of this event, you’re absolutely right—it’s enormous. The “Messe Berlin” is a colossal exhibition center dedicated to the Travel Business.
ITB primarily focuses on B2B connections within the travel industry. Here’s who you can expect to meet:
- Country booths showcasing over 50 different cultures through costumes, people, pictures, and videos. You might also encounter officials from these countries.
- Software Development Companies and service providers.
- OTA’s
- Hotel operations.
- Booking systems for hotels, cars, guided tours, tickets, apartments, cruises, and more.
- Flight compensation and insurance companies.
- DMCs.
- AI or digital reception products for hotels.
- Augmented Reality tools for travel.
- Marketing companies.
- Airlines.
- Online booking giants like Booking.com and Airbnb.com.
- Luxury travel services.
- Various IT solutions and digital products tailored for the travel industry.
The range of offerings is extensive, including some surprises I hadn’t anticipated in travel business processes.
The key insight here is that people value offline interactions and building connections. It’s worth attending offline events to engage face-to-face with existing clients, potential clients, colleagues, and other businesses.
During #itbberlin2024, I had the pleasure of meeting many interesting individuals. We even conducted video interviews with participants (special thanks to our video producer, Viacheslav Skripnik). Stay tuned—I’ll be sharing them on my YouTube channel soon.
PS: I’ll be sharing a couple more insights in my upcoming posts.
